Assignment 1 - Puzzle Mask

I think this tutorial writer made a fairly simple job a little too complicated. Here are a couple of puzzles, one I did when I first found this tut (in the spring) but just used the mask and not the instructions and the other I did following the tut but then went back and changed some things. This is a nice mask!

Really neat capability of PSP 8. I'm delighted to find the world ball. I can see it's one I'll use in other graphics.

Assignment 3 - Making Pearls

I couldn't sleep! It's 3 am. I had too much coffee at Cracker Barrel tonight when I had breakfast for supper. I completed this lesson and was out of ideas for the pearls. So I colorized the pearl colored one and used them as corners around these neat parrots (a tube). On the parrots I used one of the emboss settings that's built in to PSP 8 under User Defined Filters. I love the way it gives a three-dimensional effect.
